VanEck Wealth Builder, an actively managed exchange-traded fund, has launched with a mix of stocks, bonds, real assets and a targeted 2% allocation to Bitcoin. The fund trades under the ticker WBMO.
How VanEck Wealth Builder invests
The fund buys ETFs offered by VanEck and other providers to gain exposure to global equities, fixed income, gold and other real assets. VanEck manages and rebalances the allocations.
Its Bitcoin exposure comes through a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded product, rather than direct ownership of the cryptocurrency. The fund targets a 2% allocation to Bitcoin, within a permitted range of 1% to 5%.
From model portfolios to an ETF
The strategy builds on VanEck’s Wealth Builder model portfolios, which financial advisers could previously access through third-party wealth management platforms.
David Schassler, VanEck’s head of multi-asset solutions, said adding real assets to stocks and bonds could help investors navigate a wider range of economic conditions.
The asset manager reported approximately $244.1 billion under management as of September 30, 2026. Earlier in the year, a partnership with Basic Capital made selected VanEck digital asset exchange-traded products available through US employer-sponsored 401(k) plans.
