A CoinDCX phishing warning on October 27, 2026, alerted users to unofficial notices and emails directing them to external links, where they may be asked to connect wallets or provide account information.
What the CoinDCX phishing warning says
The crypto exchange said scammers were sending messages that prompted recipients to leave its platform. CoinDCX advised users not to click unverified links, connect wallets or enter account details on sites other than its official platform.
CoinDCX said it would never ask users to share private keys, seed phrases or one-time passwords, or send links to withdraw funds. The exchange also noted reports of similar activity involving other exchanges.
Earlier compromised wallet
The warning came days after CoinDCX confirmed a compromised wallet associated with $16 million siphoned from people who were not CoinDCX users. The available information does not establish a connection between that incident and the phishing campaign.
CoinDCX also faced a separate compromised-wallet incident in July 2025 that involved $44 million.
