The Walmart holiday basket will serve 10 people for an estimated $35, or $3.50 per person, the retailer said on October 28, 2026. The 26-item grocery assortment is available through December 24.

Walmart holiday basket contents and price

The holiday meal assortment includes ingredients for turkey, stuffing, casseroles, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. Walmart said it contains 18% more items than last year’s basket and that the same 26 items cost 12% less than they did a year earlier.

The retailer’s 2025 Thanksgiving basket was advertised at less than $40 for 10 people, although its contents differed. Walmart launched the meal program in 2022.

Availability and price conditions

The basket is available in stores and online, with pickup and delivery options subject to availability. The listed price is an estimate based on the weight of the turkey and sweet potatoes; additional pickup, shipping or delivery fees may apply.

The advertised prices exclude Alaska, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico and Wisconsin. No special membership is required, and Walmart said there are no purchase quantity limits, subject to availability.
