Abakkus Flexi Cap expands existing positions
The fund, from the investment business founded by Sunil Singhania, spread its September purchases across existing holdings rather than increasing the number of stocks it owned. Groww was a substantial addition: its holding rose from 6 million to 9 million shares, a 50% increase.
Abakkus Mutual Fund’s September portfolio disclosure notice identifies September 30, 2026, as the relevant month-end reporting date. Its statutory disclosures page also lists the August 31 notice, establishing the two reporting periods for the monthly comparison without displaying the individual share quantities.
Beyond Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank and Groww, the fund increased positions in 32 companies. These included NTPC, Edelweiss Financial Services, Federal Bank, Emmvee Photovoltaic Power and Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts. The table captures several of the disclosed increases in share counts.
Other companies receiving additions included SBI, Larsen & Toubro, Jubilant Pharmova, ICICI Bank, DLF, ICICI Prudential AMC, Inox India, Indus Towers, Dixon Technologies, Aether Industries and Tata Motors. Higher share counts do not necessarily mean higher portfolio weights, which also depend on market prices and the value of the overall fund.

Banks lead allocation as recent returns diverge
The portfolio covered 22 sectors, with banks accounting for approximately 15.79% and finance another 10.13%. Assets under management stood at ₹7,843 crore in September.
The performance figures accompanying the update showed a three-month loss of 3.01%, compared with a 4.24% decline in the BSE 500 Total Return Index benchmark. Over six months, the fund gained 5.93%, while the benchmark fell 4.30%. The fund therefore outperformed over both periods, although its shorter-period return remained negative.
Launched on December 29, 2025, the scheme had returned 6.18% since inception. Sanjay Doshi manages its equity investments and Abhishek K S manages fixed income. Its primary objective is long-term capital appreciation through equity investments across large, mid-sized and small companies, with debt and money-market investments serving a secondary return objective.
Conclusion
September’s changes expanded many existing positions without increasing the portfolio’s stock count. The next monthly portfolio disclosure will provide the next comparison of holdings and sector allocations.
