Bigben sales from continuing operations fell 12.8% year on year to €46.4 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2026–2027, covering July through September 2026. The company’s October 26 announcement showed lower new-game revenue at Nacon outweighing growth in gaming accessories, while the group continued its financial and operational restructuring.
Key Takeaways
- First-half continuing sales fell 6.4% to €83.5 million; prior-year figures were restated following the Bigben Connected disposal.
- Nacon’s new-game revenue declined against a strong release schedule a year earlier, while accessories sales rose 28.7%.
- Nacon is preparing a court-supervised reorganisation plan, with its observation period extended to March 2, 2027.
Bigben sales reflect a smaller continuing business
The unaudited figures separate continuing operations from Bigben Connected, which was sold to Modelabs on October 8, 2026. Bigben applied IFRS 5 and restated the corresponding fiscal 2025–2026 figures, making the continuing-business comparison the relevant measure of sales performance.
Continuing revenue had grown 3.0% in the April–June quarter, but the July–September decline left first-half sales below the comparable period. The latest announcement covers revenue, not first-half earnings.

Accessories growth cannot offset weaker game launches
Nacon’s new-game catalogue generated €13.7 million in quarterly sales, compared with €22.8 million a year earlier. Management attributed the decline to an unusually strong comparison period that included Hell is Us, Rugby League and RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business.
The company said The Mound and Tour de France 26 performed strongly, but those launches did not offset the comparison effect. Back-catalogue revenue from games released in previous financial years rose 0.9% to €14.1 million.
Accessories sales increased 28.7% to €11.6 million. Nacon attributed that growth to a recovering US market and demand for its new RIG headsets.
Outside gaming, Bigben said lower store footfall and slower consumption weighed on Audio-Video/Telco sales. Its adaptation plans for Metronic France and Bigben Interactive aim to prioritise higher-value distribution channels and reduce fixed costs.
Disposal and cost reductions reshape the group
Bigben’s October 8 disposal announcement confirmed the completed sale of Bigben Connected. The company said the subsidiary’s activity will leave the group’s revenue consolidation from the second half of fiscal 2026–2027.
Separately, Nacon remains in judicial reorganisation proceedings opened by the Lille Métropole Commercial Court on March 2, 2026. Its observation period has been extended to March 2, 2027, and the company is preparing a reorganisation plan that includes restructuring its liabilities for submission to the court.
Nacon said it had closed three entities and completed restructuring at two studios. Employee numbers fell from 1,125 on March 31 to 814 on September 30, 2026. Marketing spending was also adjusted to the smaller business.
Third-quarter outlook depends on releases and holiday demand
Management expects the October–December quarter to benefit from year-end sales, additional accessories and new games. MXGP 26 was released on October 1; Hunting Simulator 3 is scheduled for October 29, followed by Edge of Memories on December 3.
The company also expects new RIG headsets and the October release of its Revolution 5 Unlimited controller to support accessories sales. These are management’s expectations for the coming quarter, rather than completed sales results.
Next milestone
Bigben is scheduled to publish its first-half 2026–2027 results on November 30, 2026, after market close.
