Galaxy Digital earnings beat estimates in the third quarter of 2026, but revenue fell 71.6% from a year earlier and missed forecasts. The company also announced an additional $200 million share repurchase authorization.
Galaxy Digital earnings and revenue diverge
The company reported non-GAAP earnings of $0.83 per share, exceeding expectations by $0.63, in its October 27, 2026 results announcement. Revenue was $8.06 billion, falling $620 million short of forecasts.
The earnings beat and revenue decline measure different things: the former compares adjusted earnings per share with expectations, while the latter compares sales with the same quarter a year earlier. The non-GAAP earnings figure is not the same as reported net income.
Board authorizes additional share buyback
Galaxy Digital’s board authorized an additional $200 million share repurchase program following the results. An authorization permits repurchases; it does not mean the shares have already been bought.
Shares rose 6% in after-hours trading following the results. The New York-based company’s activities include digital asset trading, advisory services, asset management, staking and data center infrastructure.
