Industrial Measurements sales increased 28% year over year in the quarter. Öistämö attributed growth in sales and the order book to demand from data centers, semiconductor makers, battery manufacturing and power industries.
Orders at Weather, Energy, and Environment rose 53%, helped by a €25 million order for airport weather systems and equipment in Indonesia confirmed in September. Most deliveries are expected over the next three years. The division’s sales fell 11% against a strong year-earlier period.
Xweather sales rose 9%, with growth driven particularly by insurance customers and sales to developers and API customers.
Full-year outlook
In an outlook updated on October 12, Vaisala forecast 2026 net sales of €610 million to €630 million and EBITA of €110 million to €120 million. Its previous ranges were €600 million to €630 million for sales and €95 million to €110 million for EBITA.
The forecast is not a completed annual result. It excludes the impact of the planned Atmo acquisition and potential significant changes in market conditions.
