Indian travel searches point to Asian destinations

Thailand, Vietnam and Japan were among the most searched countries, with searches rising 55%, 86% and 125% respectively from a year earlier. Sri Lanka recorded almost 262% growth, while searches for Hong Kong rose nearly 138%.

Among individual destinations, searches for Bangkok rose 65% year over year and Phuket 51%. Tokyo recorded 109% growth.
