RedDoorz hotel audits are using artificial intelligence to categorise and route property issues for follow-up as the Southeast Asian accommodation platform expands its quality-monitoring programme. On October 27, 2026, the company said its teams had conducted 4,900 audits across more than 1,500 properties so far that year using its in-house Inspecto system.

Key Takeaways

  • Inspecto assigns identified issues to teams and requires corrective action to be verified before a case is closed.
  • RedDoorz also uses mystery checks, guest feedback and staff training to monitor and improve standards.

How RedDoorz hotel audits work

Introduced within the past year, Inspecto enables paperless checks covering room and bathroom cleanliness, facilities, amenities, surrounding areas and staff compliance with service procedures. AI helps categorise and route issues, while people remain responsible for operational judgment and verification.

The system supports mystery audits at company-operated hotels, including checks on service, common areas and whether promised amenities are available. The 2026 audit count spans brands including RedDoorz, SANS, UrbanView, The Lavana, Sunerra and Mitra RedDoorz.

Guest feedback and staff training

RedDoorz also feeds guest reviews into RedPilot, its AI assistant for hotel managers. Reviews and audit findings can become alerts and staff tickets, allowing recurring complaints about issues such as cleanliness, check-in and facilities to inform property improvements.

The company said its operated properties currently have an average guest rating of 9.2 out of 10. It attributed improvements to measures including renovations, upgraded amenities, stronger safety and operational standards, and greater use of data and AI.

More than 40,000 hotel staff have received hospitality operations and service-standards training since 2016, RedDoorz said. An enhanced programme launched at the end of 2025 has trained more than 250 staff.

Optional protection for guests

Under the optional Assured Stay add-on, guests can claim a refund equivalent to 50% of their stay price if promised amenities are missing or a room differs from what was shown at booking. RedDoorz said claims are made on fewer than 2% of Assured Stay bookings and that corrective action is initiated at the property once a claim is validated.
