IMG Academy leadership changes have put Mike Milliron in charge of its Florida campus and Fred Santarpia in charge of its online businesses, effective immediately. The appointments, announced October 26, 2026, follow a campus expansion and the global launch of IMG Academy+.
Key Takeaways
- Milliron was promoted from campus chief operating officer to president of IMG Academy Campus.
- Santarpia joins from Endeavor Streaming and succeeds Chris Ciaccio as president of IMG Academy Online.
IMG Academy leadership roles
Milliron oversees the strategy, growth and operations of IMG Academy’s Bradenton campus businesses, including its boarding school, camps, events, team training, Legacy Hotel and IMG Academy Golf Club.
He has been with IMG Academy since 2011 and became campus chief operating officer in 2024. During his time as COO, the academy launched four sports and undertook what it described as its largest capital expansion project.
Santarpia will lead digital businesses including IMG Academy+, NCSA and SportsRecruits. He most recently served as president of Endeavor Streaming, where he led its global expansion strategy. His previous roles included chief operating officer of Moda Operandi and chief digital officer at Condé Nast.
Expansion and online launch
CEO Brent Richard said the campus expansion was nearing completion and IMG Academy+ was live around the world. The academy said it released the online coaching product in the week before the announcement.
The campus project has supported the addition of boys volleyball, softball, swimming and wrestling since 2024.
Ciaccio, who led the online business while serving as chief commercial officer for the past 18 months, will focus on commercial aspects of the campus business and on brand and commercial synergies across the organization.
