The Potloc research platform is set to enter beta in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a full launch planned for 2027, the company said on October 26. Potloc is rebuilding its quantitative research process around AI agents and automated workflows, while retaining human review.
Key Takeaways
- Potloc says agents and automated workflows already run more than 85% of the steps in a study.
- The remaining steps are either targeted for early 2027 or will remain human by design.
What the Potloc research platform will automate
Potloc says it has mapped every step of a quantitative study and is redesigning the process around agentic AI. The company says its existing changes have already reduced the time from contract to insights by days.
Automated workflows can set survey logic, interview length and eligibility, with scripting taking as little as an hour rather than a day, Potloc says. The company also says automated checks can bring forward fieldwork, while detailed reports can be prepared in minutes rather than hours.
Human review remains part of the process
The platform’s agents use execution data from thousands of studies, including how projects were scoped, programmed, fielded, cleaned and delivered, Potloc says.
Verified respondents will continue to answer surveys, and Potloc’s in-house researchers will review work before deployment and retain responsibility for key project decisions. The company has not described every remaining step scheduled for early 2027.
