Aequs earnings for the September 2026 quarter showed a consolidated net loss of ₹52.2 crore, slightly narrower than the ₹53.2 crore loss in the preceding quarter, as revenue rose 45% from a year earlier.

Key Takeaways

  • Higher depreciation and finance costs largely offset an increase in EBITDA.
  • Aerospace and Consumer revenue both grew year over year, but the Consumer segment’s EBITDA loss widened from the preceding quarter.
  • The aerospace order book reached $1.1 billion, up 9% sequentially.

Aequs earnings and segment performance

Consolidated revenue reached ₹409.1 crore in the second quarter of fiscal 2027. For the first half of the fiscal year, the net loss widened to ₹105.4 crore from ₹16.7 crore a year earlier.

Aerospace revenue rose 44% year over year to ₹351.4 crore in the quarter, while segment EBITDA increased 24% to ₹78.3 crore.

Consumer revenue grew 52% to ₹57.7 crore, but the segment’s EBITDA loss widened to ₹40.1 crore from ₹36.1 crore in the preceding quarter. The gradual ramp-up of operations continued to weigh on cost absorption.

Revenue including joint ventures

Including proportionate contributions from joint ventures, second-quarter revenue was ₹448 crore, up 44% year over year and 4% from the preceding quarter. EBITDA on that basis was ₹33.1 crore, down 36% year over year but up 8% sequentially.

For the first half, revenue including joint ventures rose 48% to ₹878.1 crore, while EBITDA was ₹63.8 crore, with a margin of approximately 7%.

Aerospace orders and funding

Aequs signed an agreement with Safran for A320 wheels, its first serial-production contract with a tenure exceeding 15 years. It also added 238 aerospace parts during the quarter, taking its portfolio to 5,978 stock-keeping units.

The promoter group invested ₹650 crore through preferential warrants, strengthening funding for capacity expansion, strategic joint-venture investments and working capital. Aequs also appointed Reenah Joseph as chief financial officer.
