Le Mans Ultimate reached a record peak of 11,941 concurrent players during an online 24 Hours of Le Mans event, developer Motorsport Games said on October 27, 2026.
Key Takeaways
- The event hosted more than 11,000 drivers across 2,700 teams.
- Motorsport Games’ RaceControl platform ran 44 races, each lasting 24 hours.
Le Mans Ultimate event drew 2,700 teams
Motorsport Games said the player peak was based on independent data. The event had two start times on October 23 and 24, with more than 11,000 drivers taking part in races hosted on the company’s proprietary RaceControl platform.
Participants completed a combined 820,029 laps and 31,740 driver swaps. Each race had a grid of up to 62 cars, with teams of up to six drivers sharing a car over the full 24 hours.
RaceControl supported full-distance races
Motorsport Games develops and operates RaceControl, the multiplayer infrastructure used to connect competitors. CEO Stephen Hood said every race ran the full distance without a server failure.
The company said it plans to keep developing RaceControl to support larger events, but cautioned that the record player peak may not indicate future engagement, retention or sales. Le Mans Ultimate is available on PC through Steam.
