The conference brought together 69 customer and partner representatives from 24 countries and regions, including the Netherlands, Switzerland, Algeria, Brazil, Azerbaijan and South Korea. Participants exchanged technical expertise and operational experience and explored potential cooperation.

Catalysts are used in refining and chemical production to improve processes and support more efficient energy use. Sinopec said the meeting was intended to align catalyst development with industry needs.

Product range and international reach

Sinopec said its portfolio includes nearly 300 products across seven categories, spanning refining, polyolefins, basic organic chemicals, coal chemicals, environmental treatment, adsorbents and additives, and oilfield chemicals.

The company said it serves catalyst customers in more than 40 countries and regions. From 2021 to 2025, it exported 14 catalyst types for the first time and added 13 export destinations, including Canada, the United Kingdom and Argentina.

Sinopec plans to develop more efficient catalysts, improve its global service network and work with international partners on wider industrial use of the technology.
