OAK Global has promoted Fraser Scott to Director of Underwriting Planning and Performance and named John Coe Chief Risk and Compliance Officer. The OAK Global appointments strengthen oversight of underwriting portfolios and risk management at the specialist partner.
OAK Global appointments cover two Lloyd’s syndicates
Scott will coordinate business planning and performance management for OAK Global’s underwriting portfolios across Lloyd’s Syndicates 2843 and 1440.
He will align portfolio monitoring with strategic business planning and work closely with active underwriters as the underwriting division expands.
Coe takes on risk and compliance oversight
Coe, a qualified actuary with 20 years of experience in the London Market and Lloyd’s, will lead the continued integration of OAK Global’s risk framework in line with Lloyd’s and UK regulatory expectations. His remit includes governance, risk oversight, and engagement with the board and regulators.
He previously served as Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets and held senior risk management roles at Asta Capital and Tokio Marine Kiln.
OAK Global founder, CEO and Group CUO Cathal Carr said the roles reflected the company’s need for enterprise-wide oversight, governance and decision-making frameworks as it grows.
