Bristlecone revenue grew 24% year on year as the Mahindra Group supply-chain services company expanded its sales team and range of offerings, Managing Director and CEO Lakshamanan Chidambaram said on October 26, 2026.
Key Takeaways
- The company added 15 new Fortune 1000 customers, according to its CEO.
- Bristlecone doubled its sales team and expanded beyond its core ERP supply-chain services.
- Chidambaram said AI-related work would account for about 10% to 12% of revenue, without specifying a period.
Bristlecone revenue growth and expansion
Chidambaram said the 24% growth showed that the company’s initiatives were working. He did not specify the revenue amount or the period covered by the growth figure.
The company doubled the size of its sales team and widened its services to include data analytics, AI and product engineering, while retaining its focus on ERP supply-chain work. It also launched a project called Unicorn as part of its valuation ambitions.
AI work and supply-chain markets
Chidambaram said AI projects are typically smaller than SAP implementation projects, but can help the company win additional downstream business. His estimate that AI intervention would represent about 10% to 12% of revenue was not tied to a specified reporting period.
Bristlecone operates in the United States, Europe and India, with the United States its largest market. It serves high-tech, retail and consumer goods, manufacturing, and life sciences customers. Chidambaram identified high-tech as a future growth driver, followed by manufacturing and pharma and life sciences.
Technology investment and customer work
The company has invested in tools, frameworks and intellectual property intended to speed up implementations of SAP and other supply-chain products, Chidambaram said. He also described an AI upgrade to a client’s forecasting model that improved prediction accuracy across tens of thousands of product units.
At a Mahindra Group plant in Pune, Bristlecone implemented AI, augmented reality, virtual reality and computer vision across thousands of machines, achieving 99.99% uptime and a 30% reduction in manufacturing energy consumption, he said.
