The Ariana Grande foundation, launched in June 2026, is funding causes including LGBTQ+ rights and mental health services. Trans Lifeline, a crisis hotline nonprofit for transgender people, received $125,000 in total from the singer, including emergency funding and a grant announced at the foundation’s launch.

How the funding helped Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline executive director Dante Alviar Horton said the money helped restart a microgrants program that distributed $100,000 directly to transgender people through five grassroots partners. Some funding also supported benefits for the nonprofit’s crisis-service workers.

The $125,000 total includes both emergency funding and the grant announced when the foundation launched; it is not described as a single new grant.

Ariana Grande foundation funding priorities

The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation operates four funding streams: Protect & Defend, Heal & Dream, Seen & Celebrated, and Emergency Support. Its areas of support include LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights, mental health services and emergency assistance.

Organizations supported include Lambda Legal, Trans Lifeline, the Transgender Law Center and the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. The foundation follows Grande’s earlier charitable work, including a 2022 fundraising campaign for transgender young people that raised more than $3 million.
