Swavlamban 2026 focuses on homegrown technology
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Krishna Swaminathan said on October 25 that the event would create more opportunities for Indian innovators to contribute to the Navy’s future capabilities and the country’s defence self-reliance.
The event, themed “Ideas to Impact,” aims to connect the Navy with scientists, engineers, innovators and entrepreneurs. Swaminathan said technologies expected to shape future battlefields were already being developed in laboratories, universities and startups across India.
