Microtek solar expansion plans include an investment of more than ₹400 crore and a new panel manufacturing plant in Jaipur that the company expects to become operational by November 2026.
Microtek solar expansion and energy storage
Microtek announced the investment at a renewable energy expo that concluded on October 24, 2026. The company said it is setting up the Jaipur plant as part of its solar business expansion.
The company also plans to introduce a battery energy storage system, or BESS, as it develops products for households and businesses. Its existing portfolio includes solar panels, solar inverters, home inverters, batteries and electrical wires.
Revenue ambitions
Microtek said it expects revenue to more than double to ₹5,000 crore in FY27. It also has an ambition to reach ₹10,000 crore in revenue within two years; both figures are company targets, not reported results.
Founder and Chairman N K Aggarwal said the company’s storage and lithium-based products are intended to help serve India’s changing energy needs. Microtek said it has more than 100,000 dealers across India.
