Worldline revenue rose 2.5% organically to €946 million on a fully pruned basis in the third quarter of 2026, as growth in merchant services offset a decline in financial services. The payments company reaffirmed its full-year outlook on October 27.
Key Takeaways
- Merchant Services revenue grew 4.0% organically, while Financial Services revenue fell 3.3%.
- Worldline completed the final two divestments in its pruning program during the quarter.
- The company maintained its 2026 adjusted EBITDA and negative free cash flow guidance.
Worldline revenue by business
Published group revenue was €967 million, up 2.0% organically from a year earlier. The lower fully pruned figure excludes businesses sold under the company’s divestment program, making it a measure of the operations Worldline retained.
Merchant Services benefited from growth in both in-store and online channels, Worldline said. Revenue after scheme and partner fees was flat organically for the division, the first time it had not declined since the second quarter of 2024.
Financial Services revenue continued to be affected by legacy contract terminations. Excluding positive non-recurring revenue, the division’s organic decline was 5.1%. Worldline said order entry in the business was up 91% in the year to date.

Transformation and divestments
Worldline said it had migrated 98% of its Ogone small and medium-sized business portfolio to GoPay and closed four platforms since the start of the year. Western European headcount was down approximately 4% year to date; the company maintained its target of 500 fewer full-time equivalents by year-end.
The company completed the sale of its 51% stake in Worldline Australia to joint venture partner ANZ on July 31 and sold its Indian payment activities to BillDesk on August 3. It said those transactions completed the pruning program.
Full-year guidance remains unchanged
On a fully pruned basis, Worldline continues to expect 2026 organic revenue growth to be flat to marginally positive. Its outlook assumes a normalization of churn in Enterprise and the Nordics and no positive non-recurring revenue in Financial Services.
The company also reaffirmed adjusted EBITDA guidance of €630 million to €650 million and a free cash outflow of €40 million to €60 million. These are forecasts for the full year, not third-quarter results.
Next milestone
Worldline is scheduled to report its full-year 2026 results on February 24, 2027.
