AiMOGA Robotics unveiled its Mobo robot and opened worldwide pre-orders on October 27, 2026, introducing its first consumer-grade humanoid designed as a family companion. The announcement did not disclose a price or delivery date.
Key Takeaways
- Mobo is designed to recognize family members and provide conversation, reminders and children’s activities.
- AiMOGA selected 35 users to receive one year of complimentary use and provide feedback.
- The company plans to establish 300 experience centers globally and launch a robot-leasing brand.
What the Mobo robot is designed to do
The 0.9-meter-tall robot supports more than 20 languages, AiMOGA said. Its proposed uses include object recognition, storytelling and interactive English learning for children, as well as conversation and user-defined reminders for older family members.
AiMOGA says Mobo can recognize family members and retain memories linked to users through facial identification. Its MogaCloud service supports remote task assignment and over-the-air updates. The company says eligible data is de-identified and checked on the device before cloud learning and validation.
Pre-orders and commercialization plans
Mobo has attracted more than 10,000 prospective users since appearing at the World Robot Conference in August 2026, AiMOGA said. At the unveiling, 35 users became its first Global User Experience Officers, each receiving one year of complimentary use. Their feedback is intended to inform product and service improvements.
The company also outlined plans for research, cost optimization, sales, leasing and talent development. Its proposed Jia Tian Xia robot-leasing brand will start in Wuhu, China.
AiMOGA said it has sold more than 3,000 robots globally to date, with products and services reaching over 60 countries and regions. That figure covers the company’s robots generally, rather than Mobo pre-orders specifically.
