Trident CEO Soon Huat Lim intends to buy up to 1 million of the company’s Class B ordinary shares on the open market using his personal funds, the Singapore-based technology company announced on October 28, 2026.
Key Takeaways
- Lim plans to pay no more than $1 per share and report purchases on Form 4.
- The purchases are not guaranteed, and the program may be changed or discontinued.
- Trident expects its Ghanaian Sikaflow platform to generate approximately $14 million in revenue by year-end.
Trident CEO purchase terms
Lim plans to buy the shares through a registered broker within an appropriate timeframe. He is not required to buy a minimum number, and the program may be modified, suspended or discontinued without notice.
Any shares he acquires under the program will be subject to the same lock-up and leak-out terms as those agreed by Trident’s September 2026 investors. Lim beneficially owned approximately 8.92% of the company’s outstanding shares as of October 28.
Trident said the plan follows recent actions that included converting approximately $8 million of obligations into equity and securing lock-up and leak-out agreements from a majority of the September investors.
Sikaflow revenue and IRMA launch
Trident builds digital identity, blockchain authentication, and cybersecurity platforms for governments and enterprises in Asia and Africa. Its Sikaflow platform is operating in Ghana and generating revenue, the company said.
Lim said he expects Sikaflow to deliver approximately $14 million in revenue by year-end. That is an expectation, not reported financial results; Trident said it will provide a full account in its year-end report.
The company also plans to launch IRMA in November across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kenya and Ghana.
