Strategy preferred dividends will move to business-day payments after shareholders approved amendments covering four securities, the Bitcoin treasury company said on October 28, 2026. Preliminary results showed 99.3% of votes cast were in favor.

Strategy preferred dividends schedule

The amendments cover STRF, STRC, STRK and STRD, which previously paid dividends on semi-monthly or quarterly schedules. Dividends will accrue every day, including weekends and holidays, while payments will be made on business days.

Strategy expects daily payments on STRC to begin November 2, 2026, followed by STRF, STRK and STRD on January 4, 2027. The company said the changes are intended to shorten the gap between earning dividends and receiving cash, while supporting liquidity and price stability.

The annual dividend rates will not change as a result of the amendments. They range from 8% to 12%, with STRC currently offering a variable 12% rate. The other three securities have fixed rates, and STRK also offers an option to convert into Strategy common stock.

Strive’s daily dividend offering

Fellow Bitcoin treasury company Strive introduced daily cash dividends on its SATA preferred stock in June. Its second preferred security, SATS, carries a fixed 15% annual dividend rate based on a $100 stated amount per share.

Strive’s SATS offering closed on October 20, with 7 million shares sold at $90 each for $630 million. The company scheduled business-day dividends to begin November 9, subject to declaration by its board or an authorized committee.
