KPN service revenue rose 2.7% year over year in the third quarter of 2026, with growth across all segments. The Dutch telecommunications company said on October 28 that it remained on track to meet its full-year outlook.

KPN service revenue and customer growth

In KPN’s third-quarter results announcement, CEO Joost Farwerck said consumer growth was led by mobile, while the business segment returned to growth.

Consumer service revenue increased 1.8% year over year, primarily driven by mobile. Business service revenue rose 3.9%, supported by small and medium-sized enterprises and large corporate customers.

Consumer and business postpaid connections increased by a combined 66,000, while consumer broadband connections fell by 7,000 in a competitive market.

Earnings and fiber coverage

Adjusted EBITDA after leases was €671 million, down 0.1% from a year earlier. Excluding a prior-year IPR benefit, the measure rose 2.4%. Year-to-date free cash flow was €605 million.

KPN also said it had reached six million fiber homes passed in the Netherlands together with its joint venture Glaspoort. Homes passed measures network availability, rather than the number of active fiber customers.
