Reliance consumer revenue rose approximately 60% year over year to ₹8,266 crore in the July–September 2026 quarter, as its Campa beverage and Independence essentials businesses expanded.
Key Takeaways
- First-half gross revenue reached ₹16,900 crore, about 1.8 times the year-earlier level.
- Reliance Consumer Products initiated six food and beverage manufacturing projects but did not disclose their costs or completion dates.
Reliance consumer revenue and profitability
Reliance Consumer Products Ltd, the fast-moving consumer goods arm of Reliance Industries, reported first-half gross revenue equivalent to nearly 80% of its full-year FY26 total.
The first-half figure implies gross revenue of ₹8,634 crore in the June quarter, making the September quarter approximately 4.3% lower sequentially. Reliance did not explain the movement.
The company did not separately disclose quarterly revenue from operations, EBITDA or consolidated profit attributable to shareholders, leaving limited information on how the sales growth translated into earnings.
Beverages and essentials drive sales
The Campa-led beverages business recorded more than ₹5,250 crore in first-half sales, 2.1 times its year-earlier level. That exceeded 90% of its sales for the whole of FY26.
Daily essentials led by Independence generated approximately ₹7,000 crore in first-half sales, about 1.7 times the prior-year level. Reliance identified edible oils and dry fruits as growth drivers, while Udhaiyam and Independence supported pulses sales.
Reliance attributed growth to a broader product range and wider distribution. It said biscuits were a focus across mass and premium segments and that it had entered dairy through ice creams.
Manufacturing and overseas expansion
RCPL has started six greenfield food and beverage projects and commissioned additional high-speed beverage lines. It did not disclose the projects’ locations, capacities, investment outlay or commissioning schedules.
The projects come alongside Reliance’s earlier strategy for vertically integrated food parks, described in its FY26 annual report as a way to gain efficiencies from scale and integration.
Campa entered Australian supermarket chains Coles and Woolworths with support from local production. RCPL also launched in Kenya and expanded its presence in the UAE, Oman and Malaysia.
