The Jio Platforms IPO is set to dominate India’s primary market in the week beginning October 19, 2026. Jio and Paras Healthcare plan to raise a combined Rs 31,663 crore, with both offerings scheduled to open on October 21 and close on October 23. Nine other companies are scheduled to make their stock-market debuts during the week.

Key Takeaways

  • Jio plans a Rs 30,213 crore fresh-share offering, with most proceeds earmarked for telecom subsidiary debt repayment.
  • Paras Healthcare’s Rs 1,450 crore issue combines fresh capital with a sale by existing shareholders.
  • Six mainboard and three SME listings are scheduled during a week shortened by the October 20 Dussehra holiday.

Jio Platforms IPO targets India’s largest offering

Jio has set a price band of Rs 1,065–1,119 per share and a minimum bid of 12 shares. At the upper end, the minimum retail application amounts to Rs 13,428. The planned Rs 30,213 crore issue would exceed Hyundai Motor India’s Rs 27,900 crore offering in 2024 to become India’s largest public issue.

Jio Platforms’ June 2026 draft IPO filing was recorded by the Securities and Exchange Board of India on June 19, 2026. The planned October offering consists of 27 crore newly issued shares, with no offer-for-sale component, meaning the proceeds would go to the company rather than selling shareholders.

Jio intends to use up to Rs 27,500 crore of net proceeds to repay or prepay borrowings at Reliance Jio Infocomm. Akash Ambani, managing director of Jio Platforms, said the debt reduction would help the company move towards becoming net debt-free.

The offer includes reservations worth up to Rs 2,500 crore for eligible Reliance Industries shareholders and Rs 500 crore for Jio employees. Eligible employees will receive a Rs 54-per-share discount.

Paras Healthcare combines fundraising with shareholder sales

Paras Healthcare has set a price band of Rs 660–693 per share, with a minimum bid of 21 shares. That puts the minimum retail application at Rs 14,553 at the upper end. Its Rs 1,450 crore offering comprises Rs 500 crore of fresh shares and a Rs 950 crore offer for sale by existing shareholders.

Unlike Jio’s entirely fresh issue, only the fresh-share portion of Paras Healthcare’s offering would provide capital to the company. Paras operates eight hospitals under the Paras Health brand, with 2,211 beds as of June 30, 2026.

The hospital operator reported a profit of Rs 43.83 crore in FY26, reversing a Rs 57.98 crore loss in FY25. Total income increased to Rs 1,628.78 crore from Rs 1,314.21 crore. Planned hospitals in Gurugram and Ludhiana would bring capacity to 3,011 beds by March 2028.

Nine listings share a holiday-shortened calendar

The week’s market debuts span six mainboard companies and three SME businesses. Several subscription deadlines also fall on October 19, ahead of the Dussehra stock-market holiday on October 20.

The calendar below separates those closing dates from scheduled trading debuts. Jio and Paras Healthcare are not among the nine listings: their share allotments are expected to be finalised on October 26, with both listings tentatively scheduled for October 28.

Conclusion

The next scheduled step for Jio is its anchor investor book opening on October 19, followed by public subscriptions for both offerings on October 21. Allotment and listing dates remain expected or tentative, rather than completed milestones.
