SLMG Beverages sets a five-year growth target
The Lucknow-based bottler expects turnover to cross Rs 10,000 crore next year, followed by more than Rs 15,000 crore over a three-year horizon. Its five-year goal would more than double the current gross turnover of around Rs 9,000 crore.
Ladhani said the company grew about 25% in FY26 and had achieved a compound annual growth rate above 20% over the preceding four years. Those figures describe past performance; the turnover milestones and proposed stock-market listing are management plans rather than completed results.
SLMG holds Coca-Cola bottling rights in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Uttarakhand, as well as parts of Madhya Pradesh. Management sees room to increase consumption particularly in smaller towns and rural markets, and is also exploring overseas opportunities.

Buxar investment and Gorakhpur construction lead expansion
SLMG has already invested around Rs 1,200 crore in its Buxar facility in Bihar. Construction has begun on a proposed plant in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, which is expected to require around Rs 1,000 crore.
The company’s plant locations and licence details identify its manufacturing presence across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, including facilities in Barabanki, Amethi, Patna and Buxar. That existing footprint provides context for the planned expansion in the two states.
Land has also been acquired for bottling facilities in central and western Uttar Pradesh, where Ladhani said construction would begin soon. A second Bihar plant is planned after 2027.
SLMG previously announced Rs 5,000 crore of investment in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Ladhani said the company expects to exceed that commitment over the next three years, distinguishing the wider spending ambition from investment already completed.
Capacity and cooling support the sales ambitions
Beyond new factories, SLMG is investing in distribution and chilling equipment to improve availability in markets it considers underpenetrated. Expanding production alone does not address the need to get cold beverages into more retail outlets.
The company spent more than Rs 60–70 crore on chilling equipment last year. Ladhani said the overall investment would exceed Rs 100 crore when the retailer-financing initiative is included.
Management also wants SLMG to move from the world’s top 15 Coca-Cola bottlers into the top 10 within five years and the top five over a decade. These are ambitions alongside its production targets, not rankings already achieved.
Conclusion
SLMG Beverages’ growth plan combines higher sales targets with new factories and wider retail availability. The next milestones to watch are progress on Gorakhpur construction and the planned start of work at the additional Uttar Pradesh sites.
