BlackRock's Novonesis shareholding rose to 5.01% of share capital attached to shares as of October 22, 2026, from a previously reported 4.99%. In an announcement published on October 26, Novonesis said it had received a major-shareholder notification from BlackRock under Section 30 of the Danish Capital Markets Act.
Novonesis shareholding includes financial instruments
BlackRock's aggregate holding of share capital was 5.02%, comprising 5.01% attached to shares and 0.01% through financial instruments. The distinction matters: the 5.02% total includes both categories, while the 5.01% figure describes only the portion attached to shares.
The notification places BlackRock's share-based holding above 5%, compared with the previously disclosed level just below it. Novonesis said BlackRock's full notification was attached to the announcement.
The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority provides guidance on major-shareholder reporting, including reporting procedures, exemptions and practical questions. That guidance explains the disclosure framework; it does not verify BlackRock's specific holdings.
