Electric trucks will be deployed across Amazon’s transportation network in India under a partnership with Tata Motors announced on October 27, 2026. An Amazon executive said all 3,000 vehicles would be deployed within three years.
Electric trucks begin rollout

Commercial transport focus
Kumaraswamy said electrifying commercial transportation was important alongside progress in electric passenger vehicles and two-wheelers. He also emphasized the need for energy efficiency as demand for freight transportation grows.
