The Jio IPO listing is scheduled for October 28, 2026, on India’s NSE and BSE exchanges, after the company finalized allotments for an offering subscribed 22.19 times overall.

Jio IPO listing follows share allotment

Jio Platforms set the final issue price at Rs 1,119 per share. The offering opened on October 21 and closed on October 23, with overall subscription figures reported by the National Stock Exchange.

The IPO consisted of a fresh issue of 27 crore shares, raising Rs 30,187.65 crore. Investors who missed an allotment will be able to consider buying shares in the secondary market once trading begins.

Analysts watch for demand and selling pressure

Market analyst Ambareesh Baliga said institutional demand for the IPO was stronger than he had expected, but whether that demand continues after listing remains uncertain. He estimated a listing premium of 8% to 10%, while noting that grey-market indications pointed to around 20% to 22%. Neither indication is a confirmed trading price.

Baliga cautioned against chasing shares if they open significantly higher and suggested that some IPO investors could sell to book gains. Analyst Avinash Gorakshakar said those who missed the allotment should wait for the price to stabilize, noting that an initial rise could be followed by profit-taking.

Baliga said neither he nor his family held positions in the stock or had a financial interest in the company.
