The India-US trade portal recorded around 3,500 registrations within a few months of its launch, Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on October 27, 2026.
India-US trade portal connects exporters and buyers
The digital business-to-business marketplace is designed to connect Indian exporters with US-based buyers. Indian businesses can showcase their products and capabilities, while American buyers can explore offerings across sectors.
Goyal said the platform could be particularly useful for Indian micro, small and medium enterprises and first-time exporters seeking international partnerships. He described the response to registrations as encouraging.
Listings, dashboards and virtual exhibitions
The portal offers product listings by category, search facilities and personalized dashboards. Users can monitor trade activity, track business leads and review sales performance and engagement. Virtual exhibitions and curated showcases provide additional ways to promote products and meet potential partners.
The Consulate General of India in New York launched the platform in collaboration with other Indian consulates in the United States and the Indian Embassy in Washington, DC.
