Nanded free coaching will be offered to 200 students from economically weaker rural families to help them prepare for higher education entrance exams, district officials said amid drought conditions in Maharashtra.
Who is eligible for Nanded free coaching?
Students currently in Class 10 at rural Zilla Parishad high schools and private aided schools will be eligible to compete for places. The district administration said selection will take place through an entrance test in December 2026.
The programme is intended for meritorious students whose families face financial constraints. The administration has appealed to eligible rural students to take advantage of the initiative.
Entrance exams covered
Selected students will receive structured coaching for the NEET, JEE and CET examinations, which can lead to medical, engineering and other professional courses.
The district administration announced the initiative in a release on October 26, 2026.
