KASTAR sealants on display

The company said it will present MS971 for uses including window and door perimeter sealing, roofing, gutters and concrete joints. MS973 is designed for sealing and flexible bonding in applications such as sheet metal fabrication, HVAC systems and vibrating structures.

Both products’ technical data sheets list low volatile organic compound content, UV resistance and compatibility with water-based paints. KASTAR develops the sealants using its in-house silane-terminated polymer synthesis technology.

Manufacturing and customization

KASTAR plans to discuss product specifications, packaging and manufacturing services with distributors and building materials brands. The company offers original equipment manufacturing and original design manufacturing services, including discussions on formulation, color and viscosity.

The company said its facilities span five Chinese provinces and have annual capacity of 600,000 metric tons across its product portfolio, including 300,000 metric tons of sealants. KASTAR is a brand of Foshan-based Kater Adhesive Industrial Co., Ltd.
