The Brigade Hyatt agreement covers two new Hyatt Regency hotels in Bengaluru that are expected to add 600 rooms to Brigade Enterprises’ hotel portfolio in the city. Brigade said in a regulatory filing that it had signed management agreements with Hyatt Hotels Corporation for the properties.

Where the Brigade Hyatt agreement applies

One hotel is planned at Brigade Global Park and will be called Hyatt Regency Bengaluru at Brigade Global Park. The other is planned at Brigade’s upcoming township on Whitefield-Kadugodi Road.

Both hotels will be part of larger mixed-use developments incorporating multiple asset classes, Brigade Joint Managing Director Nirupa Shankar said. The 600-room figure is an expected addition, not a count of rooms already operating.

Companies outline Bengaluru plans

Shankar said the signings would strengthen Brigade’s hospitality portfolio in Bengaluru. Hyatt’s president for India and Southwest Asia, Vikas Chawla, described the city as a strategic market for the company’s growth in India, citing demand for business travel, meetings and events.

The announcement did not specify opening dates for the two hotels or disclose financial terms of the management agreements.
