Delhi temperature fell to 16.2 degrees Celsius on October 26, 2026, the city’s lowest minimum so far that month, while its air quality index stood in the moderate category at 176.
Delhi temperature readings across stations
The minimum was 0.2 degrees Celsius below the seasonal average, the India Meteorological Department said. Among other locations, Ayanagar recorded 15.7 degrees Celsius and Lodhi Road registered 16 degrees.
Palam recorded 16.3 degrees Celsius, while the Ridge registered 16.6 degrees. No rainfall was recorded at any of the five weather stations.
Air quality and daytime forecast
The Central Pollution Control Board’s air quality index reading of 176 fell within its moderate range of 101 to 200. The next category, poor, covers readings from 201 to 300.
The meteorological department forecast mainly clear skies during the day and a maximum temperature likely to reach 32 degrees Celsius.
