AiMOGA Robotics opened global pre-orders for the Mobo robot on October 21, 2026, launching its first home companion product at an OMODA & JAECOO event in Wuhu, China. The company did not disclose a price or delivery date.
Key Takeaways
- Mobo marks AiMOGA’s entry into the consumer home market after its work in commercial services.
- The company plans an initial network of 300 experience centres worldwide.
What the Mobo robot is designed to do
AiMOGA says Mobo is designed for elderly companionship, children’s companionship and family care. The robot uses the company’s MoAgent system and combines home spatial awareness, interaction, motion control and long-term memory, according to the company.
AiMOGA says Mobo has 22 degrees of freedom in body movement and can recognise family members and remember their preferences. It also says the product provides end-to-end data privacy and security protection.
Expansion beyond commercial robots
The launch is a move into household products for AiMOGA, an ecosystem partner of automotive brands OMODA & JAECOO. AiMOGA says its cumulative commercial robot deliveries have exceeded 3,000 units and its business covers more than 60 countries and regions.
The company says more than 10,000 prospective users have expressed interest in Mobo since its debut at the World Robot Conference in August. At the October launch, 35 early adopters were appointed as user experience ambassadors.
Alongside the planned experience centres, AiMOGA intends to develop a global robotics rental brand for applications including healthcare, transportation and education. It has not announced a timetable for those plans.
