TECNO and photographer Angélica Dass unveiled a portrait gallery featuring 20 people connected to solo motherhood in the Philippines on October 26, 2026. The TECNO portrait gallery is available online as part of the company’s global story archive.
What the TECNO portrait gallery shows
Dass photographed the participants in Manila for the Philippine chapter of 100 Portraits of Becoming, a two-year project planned to span five countries. The collection includes solo mothers, adults raised by solo mothers, caregivers and advocates.
Among them are Ely Haig, an advertising professional and solo mother, and Twinkle Dimayuga Zamora, who founded an initiative supporting solo mothers and their children. Their portraits and stories explore family, work and identity beyond the label of solo motherhood.
A second chapter after Kenya
The Philippines is the project’s second chapter, following its launch in Kenya in July 2026. Dass photographed the Philippine portraits using the TECNO CAMON Slim 5G and the company’s Universal Tone imaging technology.
The Philippine images and stories are available together in TECNO’s online archive. The announcement did not identify a physical exhibition or dates for future chapters.
