The Apo Golf Classic begins October 27, 2026, in Davao City, bringing the Philippine Golf Tour season to a close with the tournament title and season-long Order of Merit crown at stake.
Apo Golf Classic field takes shape
Justin Quiban returns to the field after playing overseas, while Micah Shin joins the final event of the 10-stage tour. The four-day championship at Apo Golf and Country Club carries a 2.5 million Philippine peso purse.
Quiban won the season-opening event at Lakewood and finished third at Summit Point. Shin, who honed his game at Apo, became the first foreign player to win The Country Club Invitational in 2018.
Clyde Mondilla enters after winning at South Pacific, ending a two-year title drought. Defending champion Fidel Concepcion will not compete after traveling to Australia for a vacation.
Que and Lumbo contest season crown
Angelo Que leads the Order of Merit standings with 1.36 million pesos in earnings, ahead of Jeffren Lumbo on 1.18 million pesos. Que has won twice this season and is seeking a second consecutive crown.
Lumbo remains in contention without a win this season, having finished runner-up in Negros Occidental and Iloilo. Players lower in the rankings also face a final opportunity to retain a top-40 tour card.
