IndiGo flight diversions sent two Varanasi-bound planes to Lucknow on October 25, 2026, because of an air show in Varanasi. Both aircraft landed safely, Lucknow airport said.
IndiGo flight diversions affected two routes
The diverted services were flight 6E5025 from Delhi and flight 6E915 from Hyderabad, Chowdhury Charan Singh International Airport said in a statement.
The Delhi flight landed in Lucknow at 10:14 a.m., followed by the Hyderabad flight at 10:19 a.m.
Air show in Varanasi
The Air Force Day Aerial Display-2026 was being held at Namo Ghat to mark the Indian Air Force’s 94th anniversary.
The three-day show began on Thursday, with no display on Friday because of legislative council elections in the state.
