Supplier disruption included in outlook
In its fiscal third-quarter outlook, Logitech forecast sales of $1.36 billion to $1.43 billion. The company estimated that an incident at a semiconductor supplier’s manufacturing facility would reduce quarterly sales by approximately $70 million to $80 million.
The facility reopened in September after closing at the end of June, but its capacity remained below Logitech’s requirements. The company said it expected full production to resume by the end of the calendar year and the disruption’s impact to be largely resolved by its fiscal fourth quarter.
