EverPeak Insurance has appointed Patrick Daley as chief underwriting officer, putting him in charge of underwriting strategy and quality standards across its business lines.
EverPeak Insurance sets out Daley’s role
Daley will develop a new value proposition for EverPeak’s workers’ compensation middle-market business and lead the planned relaunch of Attune’s business owner’s policy, or BOP. He will also oversee efforts to cross-sell BOP and other products to existing workers’ compensation customers.
EverPeak’s leadership team lists Daley as chief underwriting officer. The company describes itself as a national insurer serving small and mid-market businesses.
Three decades of underwriting experience
Daley has more than three decades of industry experience, including underwriting large, complex and hard-to-place risks. Most recently, he was head of underwriting services at Glatfelter Insurance Group.
He previously served as chief underwriting officer at GuideOne Insurance, where he led the re-underwriting of several portfolios. His earlier roles included head of large property at The Hartford and four leadership positions over 10 years at Zurich Insurance.
EverPeak President Kathy Kranz said Daley’s experience with complex and hard-to-place risks would support the company as it expands its offerings.
