The Bristol Myers outlook for 2026 now calls for lower earnings per share but higher revenue, the drugmaker said on October 29 as it reported third-quarter results.

Bristol Myers outlook for 2026

Bristol Myers Squibb expects earnings of about $6.35 to $6.55 per share for the full year, down from its prior range of $6.75 to $7.00. It raised its worldwide revenue forecast to approximately $49.75 billion to $50.25 billion from $49.0 billion to $50.0 billion.

The company’s July financial guidance set the earlier earnings range on a non-GAAP basis. The revised forecast includes a $0.60-per-share net impact from acquired in-process research and development charges and licensing income.

Eliquis forecast and shares

Bristol Myers maintained its expectation that worldwide Eliquis revenue will increase 20% to 25% in 2026 compared with 2025. The outlook is a forecast, not a reported full-year result.

Shares traded at $61.94 in premarket trading on October 29, up $1.33, or 2.19%.
