Polygon Labs is expanding Open Money Stack to Solana, giving businesses building on the network access to funding, customer wallet and payout services through the payments suite. The expansion was reported on October 29, 2026, following a rollout on Tron earlier in the month.

What Open Money Stack adds on Solana

Businesses building on Solana can use the integration to accept funding from bank accounts, cards and cash, provide customer accounts and embedded wallets, and arrange payouts. Kira, which offers US dollar accounts and stablecoin-based cross-border payments to businesses, is among the first customers using the integration, Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron said.

Polygon Trails cross-chain routing had supported transfers between Solana and Ethereum-compatible networks since August. The latest expansion adds the broader suite of payment services alongside that routing capability.

Why Polygon expanded its network coverage

Boiron said customer demand and stablecoin activity prompted the expansion to Solana and Tron. Token Terminal data showed about $5.76 trillion in stablecoin transfers on Solana and $6.94 trillion on Tron from January 1 through October 27, 2026.

The Solana expansion also follows Polygon’s completed acquisition of Coinme. The deal gave its US payments business access to 37 money transmitter licenses and 11 state exemptions, covering 48 states.
