This page explains where the numbers on FinanceVelix come from, how often they are refreshed and how our tools calculate results.

Cryptocurrencies

Coin prices, market capitalisation, volume and rankings are observed from CoinMarketCap at regular intervals and stored as samples. Price history charts connect those samples; they are not exchange ticks or candles. Each coin page shows the time of the last observation. Coins outside the top 2,000 by market capitalisation stay readable but are kept out of search engines and sitemaps because their data is sparse.

Stocks and company filings

Company identities, annual financials and recent filings come from public data of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Figures are shown in the currency and fiscal period reported by the company, together with the date we last checked them. Interactive price charts are TradingView widgets; coverage and delays depend on the exchange and on TradingView.

Currencies

Exchange rates are the European Central Bank's euro reference rates, published once per business day. Cross rates, conversions and percentage changes are calculated by FinanceVelix from those rates. They are reference values, not transaction rates; banks and exchanges apply their own spreads and fees.

Treasury yields, market hours and liquidations

The yield curve uses U.S. Treasury par yield rates by observation date. Market hours use exchange calendars that we review on the date shown on the page; they do not cover unscheduled closures. Liquidation statistics come from Coinalyze and are shown as reported by that provider.

Calculators

Calculators run in your browser using the inputs you enter and standard formulas, for example compound interest, loan amortisation and dividend yield. Inputs and results are not sent to our servers and are not stored in the address. Results are illustrative and exclude taxes, fees and slippage unless the tool states otherwise.

News and translations

Articles are produced through an AI-assisted workflow and translated by machine translation into 31 languages, as described in our editorial policy. Each article links to an official source where one is available.

Limitations and corrections

Data can be delayed, revised or withdrawn by its provider, and our collection can miss an interval. If you find an error, report it through the corrections page with the page address and the figure in question.
