This policy explains what information FinanceVelix, operated by Vertex Click Ltd, collects when you use financevelix.com, how it is used and the choices you have.
What we collect
Server logs: when you load a page, our hosting and content delivery servers record the request, including the IP address, time, requested address, browser type and referring page. These logs are used for security, error diagnosis and capacity planning and are kept for a short period. Account data: if you register or sign in, including sign-in with Google, we store the identifier, name and email address provided by you or by Google, the time of sign-in and the content you create, such as comments, discussions, watchlists, saved items and portfolio entries. Browser settings: your language, theme and consent choices are saved in your own browser, not on our servers.
Analytics, only with your consent
With your permission, Google Analytics measures public page visits, tool use and affiliate banner views and clicks. Optional ad measurement uses Google cookies, ad click IDs and site activity to attribute advertising results. Ad personalization stays off. Change your choice here at any time. It lasts 180 days in this browser. Withdrawal stops the selected measurement and removes its Google cookies. Search text, form entries, calculator values and private account pages are not sent. Other URL parameters are omitted.
Cookies and local storage
FinanceVelix uses a sign-in cookie or token when you use an account, local storage for your analytics choice, theme and display preferences, and session storage to remember that the Binance offer panel has already been shown. Google Analytics cookies are set only after consent. Embedded third-party widgets, such as TradingView charts, may set their own cookies under their own policies when you open them.
Third-party services
Content delivery and security: Cloudflare. Analytics: Google Analytics, after consent. Sign-in: Google Identity Services, when you choose to sign in with Google. Charts: TradingView widgets load from TradingView when you open them. Market data providers, including the European Central Bank, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Treasury, CoinMarketCap and Coinalyze, supply data to our servers and do not receive your personal information from us. Affiliate links to Binance take you to Binance, where Binance's own policies apply.
How we use information
We use information to deliver pages and keep the service secure, to operate accounts and community features, to measure readership in aggregate and to respond to enquiries and correction requests sent to our mailboxes. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising personalisation.
Your choices and rights
You can use the site without an account and with analytics declined. You can change your analytics choice at any time from the Analytics preferences control. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data linked to your account by emailing the contact address from the email address you registered. We answer within a reasonable time and may ask for verification. Where local law gives you additional rights, for example under the GDPR or UK data protection law, you can exercise them through the same address.
Retention and security
Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted. Account data is kept while the account exists and is deleted or anonymised on request. Connections use HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
FinanceVelix is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service changes. The date below shows the latest revision. Translated editions are provided for convenience; if they differ, the English version prevails.
