Tivoli earnings fell in the first nine months of 2026 despite higher revenue, as increased activity, the opening of its Hikari attraction area and other initiatives raised costs.

Key Takeaways

  • Profit before tax fell to DKK 13.3 million from DKK 34.6 million a year earlier.
  • Tivoli maintained its full-year forecasts for revenue and profit before tax.

Tivoli earnings and visitor numbers

For the period from January 1 through September 30, revenue rose 6% to DKK 937.9 million from DKK 886.5 million a year earlier, the company said on October 29. EBITDA fell 12% to DKK 108.6 million from DKK 123.2 million.

Visitor numbers were 2.682 million, down slightly from 2.689 million in the same period of 2025. Profit before tax declined 62%.

Hikari opening and seasonal trading

Tivoli attributed the higher cost level to increased activity, the opening of Hikari and several strategic initiatives. The Japanese-inspired Hikari area includes rides, shops and dining outlets.

CEO Susanne Mørch Koch said revenue and earnings grew in the third quarter and that Hikari was already making a positive contribution to the business. She also described the Halloween season as well attended.

Full-year outlook unchanged

Tivoli maintained its 2026 guidance for revenue of around DKK 1,400 million and profit before tax of DKK 145 million. Those figures are forecasts, not completed results.

Next milestone

Christmas in Tivoli is scheduled to open on November 13 and run through January 3, 2027.
