Jet Excellence will equip its entire fleet of Cessna Citation X aircraft with Gogo Galileo HDX in-flight connectivity, Gogo announced on October 29, 2026. The charter operator will use Gogo’s financing program to help fund the upgrades.

Key Takeaways

  • Araina Aviation is beginning installations after FAA certification for the Citation X.
  • Gogo’s financing program lets operators pay for equipment in installments over five years.

Gogo Galileo installations begin

The announcement follows the Federal Aviation Administration’s issuance of a supplemental type certificate for installing Galileo HDX on the Citation X. Araina Aviation is beginning the work immediately.

Gogo did not disclose the number of aircraft involved, the contract value or a fleetwide completion date. Jet Excellence supplies aircraft capacity to fractional ownership, membership and charter providers.

Satellite service and financing

The Gogo Galileo satellite system uses Eutelsat OneWeb’s low-Earth-orbit network. Gogo says the service lets passengers and crew use multiple devices for activities including video conferencing, streaming and web browsing.

Jet Excellence CEO McQueen Campbell said the financing solution would help the operator introduce the service across its fleet on an accelerated schedule. Gogo says its program allows operators to pay for equipment in installments over five years; the announcement did not specify the terms of Jet Excellence’s arrangement.
