Bitmine ETH holdings reached 6,051,933 tokens as of October 25, 2026, bringing the company close to its target of owning 5% of Ethereum’s supply. In its October 26 update, Bitmine Immersion Technologies reported $15 billion in combined crypto, cash, marketable securities and other investments, alongside another week of Ethereum purchases and share repurchases.

Key Takeaways

  • Bitmine said its Ethereum holdings represented 4.95% of the token’s 122.2 million supply.
  • The company acquired 10,452 ETH and repurchased 2.04 million common shares during the past week.
  • About 86% of its ETH was staked; management’s annualized revenue estimates are not reported earnings.

Bitmine ETH holdings approach the 5% target

The holdings snapshot was taken at 2 p.m. Eastern time on October 25 and used an ETH price of $2,356. The reported $15 billion total includes assets beyond Ethereum and should not be read as the value of its ETH position alone.

Chairman Thomas “Tom” Lee said Bitmine had purchased ETH every week since starting its Ethereum treasury strategy on June 30, 2025. Its latest acquisition brought the company closer to its stated 5% ownership goal, but that target had not yet been reached.

The company also reported the following assets alongside its Ethereum position.

ItemDetails
Bitcoin215 BTC as of October 25, 2026
Cash and marketable securities$514 million
Beast Industries stake$180 million reported value
Eightco Holdings stake$76 million reported value

Share repurchases reach $399.6 million in 2026

Bitmine repurchased 2.04 million shares during the past week at an average price of $22.48. For 2026 to date, it reported cumulative purchases of 22.9 million common shares at an average price of $17.48, for an aggregate $399.6 million.

Lee said the company intends to buy back shares when management considers them relatively undervalued, subject to market conditions and its existing authorization. That is a conditional capital-allocation policy, not a commitment to purchase a fixed number of additional shares.

Staking estimates depend on deployment and yields

Bitmine’s MAVAN staking platform provides institutional blockchain staking infrastructure, including support for Ethereum. Its product documentation describes a non-custodial model in which clients retain control of their keys.

Separately, the October 26 announcement put Bitmine’s total staked ETH at 5,227,037 tokens as of October 25, valued at about $12.3 billion using the same $2,356 price. The company said a portion of its ETH was already staked through MAVAN.

Lee cited approximately $318 million in annualized staking revenue based on the current staked balance. He projected approximately $368 million annually if all holdings were staked through MAVAN and its partners, using a 2.58% seven-day yield. These are annualized estimates rather than realized full-year results, and actual rewards depend on staking yields and deployment.
