Travel AI data company DealLabs said on October 28, 2026, that it had built a database covering seven Asian cities, with more than 280,000 local information records as of October 13.
Key Takeaways
- The database powers more than 23,000 guide pages, DealLabs said.
- The company plans to expand from seven cities to 10 by the end of 2026 and 30 by 2028.
Travel AI data covers transport, dining and health
The Seoul-based company said the database covers Seoul, Busan, Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Taipei and Singapore. Each record includes its source and verification date, and the information is published in formats that AI systems can read directly.
The records include subway exits, train timetables and fares, restaurants, attractions and hospitals. They also cover closing days for Singapore hawker centers and business hours for Taipei night markets.
Osaka accounts for more than 114,000 records, including more than 42,000 medical institutions and pharmacies and more than 30,000 restaurant permits. Taipei has more than 63,000 records, including 7,200 station-to-station fares.
APIs and expansion plans
DealLabs said all seven cities have AI-ready guide files and data APIs, while Seoul also has a standard OpenAPI specification. The company said it continuously updates the information using official sources.
Accesses by generative AI search and answer services rose from around 600 per day on a seven-day average in late September to more than 11,000 per day in mid-October, the company said.
DealLabs is piloting Visit Plan Check, a service that checks AI-generated travel itineraries against official sources daily. Its expansion plans include coverage of New York and Paris by 2028.
Next milestone
The next stated milestone is DealLabs’ plan to reach 10 cities by the end of 2026.
