After Manado, Jakarta, Medan and Bandung, the remaining destinations in Agoda’s ranking were Solo, Surabaya, Palembang, Bali, Semarang and Yogyakarta.

Local snacks feature in Agoda’s promotion

Agoda highlighted snackpacking as a way for young travelers to explore local food and culture. Its search figures do not establish that snackpacking caused the increase in destination interest or show how much of that interest came from young travelers.
